VNBOT Technology (“we”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect data when you use the VNBOT platform at vnbot.vn.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: Full name, email address, password (hashed), organization name.
  • Social login data: When signing in via Zalo, we receive your public name and profile picture. Email is only collected if Zalo grants permission or you enter it manually.
  • Facebook / Zalo OA page data: Access token, page name, avatar when connecting a channel.
  • Conversation data: Messages between customers and the chatbot for training and improvement purposes.
  • Usage data: Access logs, device type, IP address for security and analytics.

3. How we use it

  • Provide and maintain the chatbot automation service.
  • Authenticate identity and secure accounts.
  • Send service-related notifications (OTP, invoices, system updates).
  • Improve AI response quality.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with:

  • Meta (Facebook): To integrate Messenger via Meta’s official API.
  • Zalo: To integrate Zalo OA via Zalo’s API.
  • OpenAI: Message content is sent to generate embedding vectors for semantic search (anonymized).
  • Infrastructure providers: Servers, database, email within necessary scope.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers located in Vietnam and protected by TLS/HTTPS encryption, bcrypt passwords, and tenant-based access control. We apply appropriate technical measures to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Retention

Account data is retained for as long as you use the service. After account deletion, personal data will be removed within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

8. Cookies

We use localStorage to store JWT tokens for session authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
