Configure AI Assistant

Create and fine-tune your chatbot script: personality, reply rules, brand tone and conversation flow.

Open AI Assistants

From the Dashboard sidebar, select "AI Assistants".

Create a new assistant

Click "Create AI Assistant". VNBOT provides three creation methods — choose the one that works best for you:

ManualFill in the form directly with full details about the role, script and rules.
From templateClick "Template Gallery", choose a template that fits your industry, and click "Apply".
Generate with AIClick "Create with AI", describe your business. The AI generates the entire script automatically.

Set up personality (Behavior tab)

Fill in the bot role, bot name, pronouns and communication style. This is the foundation that tells the AI who it is and keeps replies consistent with your brand.

Configure reply rules

Enter the opening greeting, brand tone, terminology to use, and words to avoid.

The "Special Situations" section lets you configure dedicated responses for when a product is not found, price is unclear, the question is out of scope, or a customer complains.

Assign channels

In the "Basic" tab, select the Facebook Pages, Zalo OAs or Websites that this assistant will serve.

Each channel should only be assigned one AI assistant. If multiple assistants are assigned to the same channel, the system uses the most recently created one.

Assign skills to the assistant (optional)

Switch to the "Skills" tab. Click "Add skill" to pick skills from the library, or use the quick-add suggestions below. Toggle each skill on or off. Click the heart button (♥) to set a skill as the default: when no skill is triggered by the conversation content, the bot falls back to this default skill automatically.

If no skills are assigned, the bot still works using the personality configured in the Behavior tab. Skills let the bot handle specific scenarios (sales, booking, support...) with their own dedicated rules.

Save and test

Click "Save". Use the "Test AI" button to chat directly with the assistant before going live.
